This week, I’m attending the New Tech Network Annual Conference in my home town, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The conference draws over 1,500 facilitators, academic coaches, administrators and others who work within New Tech schools. At the moment, there are about 120 NTN schools in the USA and one from Australia.
One of those schools is Kent Innovation High, located on the Kent Intermediate School District campus.
The conference theme this year is, “Dive into deeper learning”, and by looking at the program, it certainly will fit that title. As I look through the PDF, I see how we will have some great opportunities to collaborate, and have conversation on how project based learning can return the love of learning back into our increasingly high stakes test driven system.
